OUR TEAM
Michèle
She was originally trained as a civil engineer. After many years of work, she was not happy and she found her real vocation after giving birth to her two children. She then started to question the best way to help her children to grow up and bloom. Her teaching dream job - as a little girl - came back to her mind when her daughter started preschool. Thus, she took communication lessons (Jacques Salomé's ESPERE Method, Faber and Mazlish's parental workshops) and was trained to the Félicitée Method (movements, breathing methods, relaxation exercises to help children develop their potentials).
After giving birth to her son, she took a parental leave, allowing her to take the Montessori Assistant Teacher training for 2,5 to 6-year-old children. Soon after, she continued with the Montessori Teacher training for the same age group. She was trained at the Maria Montessori Institute (AMI) located in Paris.
Supported by her family, she seized the opportunity to open her own Montessori preschool to help some children to grow up and develop their skills in a Montessori-based environment.
Her biggest pleasure is to see the children's wonderment after succeeding in completing an activity which first seemed too difficult to them.
Michèle likes reading, hiking, cooking and learning.
She is the Headmaster of the school and a full-time French-speaking teacher in the 3 to 6-year-old group.

Julie
After graduated with a Master's Degree in English's language, literature and civilization, she started to teach learners aged from 8 to 18 years old (in public schools and private lessons).
Then, she obtained her TESOL/TEFL (teaching English to students of other languages / teaching English as a foreign language) which allows her to teach English worldwide. This is how she went to Hong Kong to teach English in a primary school for many years. After giving birth to her first child, she decided to head back to France.
Julie has always believed in each child's ability to learn foreign languages since early childhood, that is the reason why she was first attracted by the Montessori Method which emphasizes a child's Absorbent Mind and offers a bilingual environment.
She joined our team in 2015 as an English-speaking assistant teacher in the 3 to 6-year-old group. In order to develop and deepen her knowledge of the Montessori Method, she took the Montessori Assistant training for children from 3 to 6 years old at Maria Montessori Institute (AMI) located at Nogent sur Marne.
Julie has two boys, to whom she speaks French, English and Cantonese.

Séverine
She has a Childcare Worker diploma. She had many opportunities to work as a trainee in different places and she has always felt close to Maria Montessori's Method of education. After working with young children for many years, she joined our team in September 2014 in order to share educational values which are important to her, always respecting children's fulfillment. She is still passionate about her work.
Séverine benefited from an in-house training and she also took the Maria Montessori Institute's Assistant Teacher training for children aged 2 to 3.
As she is passionate about arts, she enjoys sharing her passion with our children and leads a workshop once a week, in the afternoon, with all the children who don't need a nap anymore.
