POSITIVE DISCIPLINE
Our team has her heart set on helping our children to become accomplished adults, endowed with fundamental and sociable skills, therefore, in December 2015 each team member was trained on the Positive Discipline by the Discipline Positive France Association.
The objectives of the Positive Discipline:
“a child can do better when he feels better” Jane Nelsen.
In the process, the authority is used without submission, by conciliating firmness and kindness.
Since our training, we have gradually set up activities and rituals giving children tools to stimulate the acquisition of psychosocial skills.
The objectives of the Positive Discipline:
- Create a firm and kind atmosphere in the classroom
- Develop the necessary skills to an academic and sociable blossom (patience, empathy, self-respect and respect of others, compassion, politeness, independence…)
- Learn how to motivate children by developing self-discipline, a sense of responsibility, cooperation, a search for solutions, self-esteem.
